Kapalua Bay Villa 29B2

We absolutely loved our stay in the condo on the beach. IT had all the amenities needed, and fit our family just perfectly. Be sure and use the complimentary bags provided. We don't come from a place where they charge for bags at the stores. The beach chairs and cooler came in handy as well. Only suggestion would be for a couple soft throw blankets for the evening sits on the beautiful patios, it was a bit windy and brisk in November. But honestly nothing to complain about. The view is epic, and waking to the rolling waves was just the perfect way to start every morning. A brief walk to the beach or the opposite direction were beautiful cliffs where we enjoyed viewing turtles. We will be back for sure

This villa was very nice with a gorgeous view, beautiful new kitchen and nice bathrooms, but which could use vanities with drawers. The family room couches/chairs has shown some wear and needs attention, but still comfortable. The upstairs bedroom is spacious, comfortable bed and has a beautiful view, but could use upstairs windows with remote control shades for privacy and darkness, or a room divider room darkening curtain. The villa in front is going through some remodeling which you can see, but the workers weren't intrusive, and the noise was minimal. The overall property and location is beautiful within a 5 minute walk to the beach and 1 minute walk to a nice pool area with bathrooms and nice grilling area. Sitting on the lanai is nice, but very windy!

Property is well located with a Beautiful view. Would be 5 stars except for non-functioning lamps, poor lighting in general.

Spectacular views

We completely enjoyed our stay at this property. It was exactly what our family needed. There was plenty of space for our kids to stretch out and relax, and amazing views for all of us to enjoy. We will absolutely stay here again in the future!

We loved our stay at Kapalua Bay Villas. The condo was updated and very well maintained. The location is second to none and was perfect for my family with beautiful views, gorgeous rocky beach, sandy beach, beachside hiking/walking, and great nearby restaurants.

Fantastic views from this villa! We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous part of the world. The villa was nice. Needs some updating. We had some unwanted bugs inside. Other than that, the place was fantastic. Will definitely book another stay in the future!

The rental was exactly as pictured. The accommodations had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The views were AMAZING. Aloha Vacation Villas had great communication and checked in on us to be sure we didn't need anything. Overall a fantastic experience.

Property was clean, crisp, and comfortable. Excellent attention to details by Aloha Vacation Villas! Would have gladly extended our stay in this unit, and will keep Aloha Vacation Villas as our preferred rental property agent.

This place had amazing views, trail directly behind the condo and a beach that was a short walk. Our kids, 6 & 8, loved being here and there was so much for them to do and explore outside!

We had a fabulous stay. This unit is beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised by the newly remodeled kitchen which was not pictured when we booked. The view was spectacular, and the windows allow for amazing views from upstairs and downstairs. The property is great with a very well maintained pool in very close proximity and the beach in front of the Montage hotel was a quick walk and a great place to snorkel.

This waterfront property is perfect! Quiet complex and within walking distance to other beaches as well as one right out your door. The villa was clean, comfortable and we loved listening to the waves from the master bedroom and dining area. We will definitely return.

First time staying in Kapalua. We love the location and this unit was incredible. Our stay was a new best and we look forward to our return. Views and amenities were the best we have had in Maui.

This condo has an incredible view. The sounds of the waves crashing on the beach can be heard from both the living room and upstairs bedroom. My husband has already told the family we will return and stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful location.

This unit was extremely comfortable for 4 people. The views are amazing, and still feels private with all the windows. A 5 minute walk to the Kapalua Trail and 10 minute walk to 2 beaches. Unit was very clean and furniture/linens of good quality. Only two things that could make the unit better: The kitchen while functional and clean is only big enough for one person to cook or clean at a time. The lounge chairs on the patio do not have cushions, which made them unusable--it would have been so great to use them.

We have a family of four, which includes 2 teenage girls. We usually stay at the Ritz but now have a new goto place. So much more room and better priced. Beautiful location. The only downside is the master is the upstairs and has no doors, so not a lot of privacy; but absolutely a beautiful view of the ocean every morning. Aloha

This condominium was really great for our family vacation. We used to stay at the Ritz, but this was so much better to have the space for our family and was much better priced. The views are breath taking. The home was spacious and clean. The only downside is that the master bedroom does not have a door and opens up over the living room, so not a lot of privacy. That being said, this is definitely going to be our "go to" spot now. We may look at other units due to the master bedroom situation; but this is now were we will seek to stay. One other note is that the customer service was great.

Great views! Nice place. We would stay again BUT do not shower in the upstairs shower. You can’t see out but everyone behind this unit can see you in all your glory. We saw many others in the development unknowingly shower and decided to test ours and sure enough my family could see everything (although we tested it dressed of course).

The place is s decent size. Kitchen and upstairs bath need a facelift but the downstairs baths are great.

Overall very happy.

Villa was very clean,beds were very comfortable, but could use better pillows. Kitchen needs some updating, but had everything we needed, so it worked out fine. Overall, villa was nice, and couldn't ask for a better was spectacular waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean! I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Nice location. The down stairs was remolded and nice. The master bedroom and bathroom is very old and needs to be remolded. Especially the master bath. Terrible condition and very old. Cabinets are from the 70'S. Closet was full of owner items,dirty and no space. No air conditioning in the bathroom. Windows blinds rusted and terrible in the bathroom and throughout unit. Great location and development. We would stay again if these items were improved.

Overall a great condo. Could need some update.

We stayed a week from November 18 to the 25 with 3 adults and one 7 year old. The good was the location to the ocean and the bad was there were renovations to the condos next to ours, Although they claim there have been major renovations the condo is very outdated except for the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen cabinets did not stay closed and kitchen fridge is old and does not cool or freeze properly. The good was the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for 4 people.

An easy to use space, lovely dining / living area. Easy car parking and great for access to a lovely beach. Most of property in great shape, the ensuite bathroom dated.

Beautiful location, excellent villa and great amenities.

The villa in Kapalua was the best location possible. Terrific views of the ocean from both the master bedroom, dining room and living area. The villa was clean and adequate with extra amenities such as boogie boards and beach chairs. The guest room was especially nice with updated bathroom. The kitchen and master bathroom are functional but very dated, including kitchen appliances. Master bedroom was nice but noticed unnecessary & noticeable items stored under the bed. Would’ve liked to have snorkeling equipment along with beach umbrella for use.

This was our first trip to Maui, and if we return, this is the rental we will definitely choose again! The view was incredible! We loved the loft upstairs with the two chairs in the sunroom with the gorgeous view of the ocean. Our college age kids shared the bedroom downstairs, but nice they each had their own bathroom. The kitchen was small, but we only had breakfast their most days. We loved the porch. There were some ants in our bathroom, but management quickly came and sprayed. We would definitely recommend this villa!!

We stayed at Villa 29B2 in Mid April. The condo offered amazing views of the ocean, and was located squarely between two great beaches easily within walking distance. There is a coastal trail that you can use to get to either, or simply to further enjoy the ocean. We like the Kapalua area as it is less crowded then Kaanapali and quieter. Granted, there was plenty of wind while we were there, but we knew that before reserving. The condo is close to Slaughterhouse Beach which offers decent boogie boarding/body surfing (and where each time we went sea turtles would simply swim by while you jumped waves!). The condo is also a quick 5 minute drive to Honolua bay, also a great snorkeling spot. There were boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and chairs all provided at the condo which was handy. Only a couple of small issues: It's clear that the condo is currently under renovation - which is great - but if you are looking for perfection you won't find it here. We appreciated the renovated bathrooms downstairs. The master bath could also use updating and I assume is next on the list. The other issue was ants. A significant effort on the part of the villa owners/managers is made to alleviate the issue, but it's near impossible. They also sprayed for insects while we were there, which resulted in a few cockroach friends going belly-up in the following 24/48 hours. Finally, our only other minor complaint was the lack of cushions on the outdoor furniture. The metal bars could get uncomfortable after a while. We simply laid our towels down instead, but cushions would have been nice. All in all, as our second time staying in Maui, we enjoyed our experience and were very happy with the condo.

This is a beautiful condo, clean and modern, in a perfect location in Kapalua for our family of four (2 adults and 2 boys age 2 and 7) It is bright and airy, with large living spaces. The upstairs bedroom is lofted and open to the downstairs, which is just something to be aware of depending on who you are traveling with. We enjoyed sleeping with the sliding doors to the upstairs deck open so we could hear the ocean. The downstairs bedroom with 2 beds worked great for the kids. There are 3 nice spacious bathrooms. Our favorite part of the the condo was the dining area and lanai, where we could have our breakfast and watch whales migrating right outside the windows! The kitchen is small and not updated, but had all the appliances and utensils we needed. The location could not be better. It is a 5 minute walk to beautiful open Oneloa beach, with great waves (and few people), and about a 10 minute walk to more protected Kapalua beach (great for the kids). The coastal trail is right out the front door, perfect for walks and runs. We had a few glitches, like the door code and the WiFi password being incorrect-the management death with these issues promptly.

3rd time renting at this location and it was another great experience! The property was in great condition and the service was fantastic! And its an awesome spot!

The condo is well-located, and has beautiful views. The complex is also very nice with walking paths, pools, and shuttle service to nearby beaches. The on proptery staff was helpful, as the door code we were sent did not work when we arrived. It was promptly reset with no issue. Complaints are minor - It was unclear from the listing that one of the bedrooms was lofted, and open to the main space. It worked out ok since we have our 4 year old with us, but if we were staying with other adults, it might have been awkward. They are in the middle of remodeling the bathrooms, which is fine, the ones that have been redone are very pretty but not terribly functional (poor water pressure, faucets turn the wrong way). The unremodeled bathroom works the best, but had windows through which you could see into the shower - we ended up hanging towels over them since the blinds didn't work. Finally, we had a surprise one morning when the maintenance crew was walking along our balcony without notice, and had turned the water off also without notice. When we talked to them, they turned the water back on until we had left for the day.
